Quiver

A glimmer of soft light with moonlight in your eyes,
The touch of your hand sends shiver up my spine,
Rouse the senses of desire I tremble,
The sweet love we’ve almost made,
Makes me close my eyes and shudder,
Together we’re consumed by lust,
Just you and me beating our own emotions,
I keep the memories hidden in the flames,
Heighten up the tension when I look back,
I feel your lips trailing from end to end,
I embrace the emptiness of the mark you left,
Release the gravity of the strain we created,
Injured body and soul from the damage we made,
I wake up shaken from the spring of my nightmare,
I move on from the shadows we crafted,
Ours will never be forgotten nor remembered,
No regrets let’s set this free.
